We will supply a home from home feel for your bird, please  bring their own cage as they are used to their own surroundings and a change can cause stress.

We have a purpose built ‘pet lodge’ in our beautiful homely surroundings and all birds will be housed within.  The temperature is kept as a house would be, heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer.  If your bird likes a bit of sun we’ll also pop it outside (in its cage of course) for it to enjoy a bit of fresh air. We also leave the radio on daily for a bit of background noise for them so when I’m not in the pet lodge myself they hear a bit of chatter from the radio.

We can supply food but advise you to bring its usual mix, we will however supply any fresh fruit or veg your bird is used to,a change of fresh water daily, kept clean to our highest standards, coupled with lots of attention to give your bird a holiday as well, hopefully they will enjoy their stay so much they will come back year after year.

NEW DECISIONS FOR 2012

Please be advised that after a lot of debate we have decided that any Parrot or Bird boarded with us that has not had its wings clipped will not be let out of its cage due to safety issues, obviously I know the importance of giving the birds time out of their cage but because of us only having one main door into the pet lodge we feel, as much as we are very careful that it could only be a matter of time before one seizes the opportunity to fly out.  We would be absolutely distraught should this happen and hope that new and old customers will understand our decision.
